CIMA

What devices are supported?

CIMA registration can only be performed on iOS and Android devices that are enrolled in NASA MDM

What is required for CIMA mobile device registration?

A PIV badge reader is required to be utilized for registration of mobile device(s). A user can only register a mobile device from a computer that has a PIV badge reader.

Prior to beginning the registering process please ensure the mobile device(s) has a CIMA enterprise app from the MaaS360 App Catalog or Intune Company Portal is installed on the device.

Why should I register my mobile device?

Upon successful registration of the mobile device, the user's NASA derived credentials will be installed on the mobile device. Through the use of the NASA derived credential the user will be able to access NASA services and installed mobile applications without having to manually enter credentials upon login.

Will my NASA derived credential expire?

The NASA derived credential will remain active on the mobile device for a period of two years. After the two-year period has expired the NASA derived credential will no longer be valid. Thirty days prior to the expiration of the NASA derived credential the user will be notified via email to re-register his/her mobile device.

How can I manage previously registered mobile devices?

Your device registration can be managed from the My CIMA Registrations. This page allows the user to change the name of previously registered devices and re-register or unregister a device if it is lost, stolen or replaced.
